The PowerShares DB Oil Fund (Symbol: DBO) (the "Fund") is based on the DBIQ Optimum Yield Crude Oil Index Excess Return (the "Index" or "DB Crude Oil Index") and is managed by DB Commodity Services LLC (the "Managing Owner"). The Index is a rules-based index composed of futures contracts on Light Sweet Crude Oil (WTI) and is intended to reflect the performance of crude oil.Investors can buy and sell shares in the Fund at market price on the NYSE Arca, Inc. Ordinary brokerage commissions apply. Shares may only be redeemed directly from the Fund by Authorized Participants in blocks consisting of 200,000 shares.
